I've had a few questions come my way regarding the last few paintings I've posted, so I thought I'd write a brief explanation.
If my anxiety was a place, a town so to speak where my worries and fears live this would be it. I'm afraid my mind is full of anxiety as of late, wondering where I will be by this time next month and what sort of work I'll have managed to get. Anybody who has suffered anxiety and/or depression can tell you that it tends to warp the way you see the world a bit.
These aren't adapted from any real place, they are the shapes that emerged from my hand and the pens and paint.
I'll have a few more in this series to post shortly, then some normal paintings based on Prague. And hopefully I'll get around to writing about some of my linguistic adventures.
